Please join us for Mass and Simple Suppers during the Lenten season. The Altar Guild will be hosting simple suppers following Mass on Wednesday evenings, beginning Wednesday, February 18 (Ash Wednesday) and continuing through Wednesday, March 25.

Mass will begin at 6:00 PM, followed by a simple supper in Marrapese Hall.

A donation of $10/person includes Soup, Salad, Rolls & Butter. All proceeds will be split between Holy Family Soup Kitchen and J.O.I.N. (Joint Organization for inner-City Needs).There will be no Simple Supper during Holy Week.  Holy Week Mass times will be announced soon.

During Lent, Daily Masses on Wednesday at St. John the Baptist will move to 6:00 PM due to Lenten Simple Supper Meals (schedule above) - the location of Daily Mass on some days will change.

On February 7 and 8, we observe World Marriage Day, a special time to give thanks for the gift of marriage and to pray for all married couples. We ask God to strengthen their love, fidelity, and commitment through every season of life. In celebration, we invite you to comment on our Facebook or Instagram post tomorrow and share who has been married the longest. If they are willing, we would love to share the story and celebrate their journey together.

Also on February 7 and 8, we will offer the Blessing of Throats in honor of Saint Blaise. This traditional blessing invites us to pray for protection from illnesses of the throat and for continued health and healing.

In addition, the Father Marrapese Scholarship is now open and accepting applications. We encourage eligible students to prayerfully consider applying and to share this opportunity with others who may benefit- social media flyers will be posted, you can screenshot and share with others! Information is also on our website!
